Hi!

  Thanks for visiting my website! My name is Jennifer Payne and I'm located in the small town of Douglas, Alabama. Since I was young I have found happiness in art, I just didn't know where it would lead me. Now, here I am  32 years later and happier than ever with photography by my side. I am one hundred percent self taught and I have found most joy in this learning process since I began in May, 2015. There's nothing quite like the bliss of capturing the most treasured moments in someone's life for a living.

  My husband, Jace, and I have been married since 2011 and he is by far my biggest fan (and helper haha). He has given me two spunky boys, Jack Thomas & Lawson. These beautiful wildlings have changed my life forever and helped my love behind the camera grow. Since we welcomed our first born in 2012, I was immediately trying to freeze time with those special moments!

  Backroad Photography is not just a business to me, it's my legacy, my mark in this world, my everything. I have worked so so hard to get to where I am now and I WILL continue to conquer all the crazy obstacles of owning a business and continue delivering one-of-a-kind memories to people from all over!
